How to use?
For Seeds: Part-fill tray/pot with compost and water lightly. Sow seeds according to instructions on the packet. Cover with a thin layer of compost and water lightly. Place in a warm area away from direct sunlight, water lightly as necessary.
For Repotting: Part fill the new pot with a mix of compost and drainage medium, as appropriate. Water the plant to be repotted and gently release the root ball by tapping on the base of the pot. Shake off loose soil. Place into the new pot and fill in with compost, pressing down gently to secure the plant in position. Water well and feed at intervals, as appropriate.
For Pots & Containers (Indoor, Outdoor, Hanging): Top-dress with 1–2 cm of compost throughout the year to maintain soil health and provide continuous nourishment.
For Garden Beds (Vegetables, Flowers, and Herbs): For Planting Out: Dig a hole at least ⅓ larger than the root ball that you are planting out. Line the hole with a layer of compost. Place the root ball into the hole, fill in with more compost, pressing in firmly to position the plant securely. Water well and check on regularly until plant becomes established.
For New Beds: Mix 5–10cm of compost into the top 15cm of soil before planting.
For Established Beds: Apply 2.5–5cm of compost as a top dressing around plants, trees and shrubs as a soil and nutrient boost.
